Don’t Blog

Not a Blogger?  Click Here (and then click upper right, “skip this ad”) for 11 payoffs if you blog, or if you ever want to start blogging.

Blogging won’t ever be important to you, if you won’t ever make blogging important.

Creating a great blog won’t ever be important to you, if being great isn’t important to you.

Same with exercise.

Exercise won’t ever be important to you, if you don’t ever make your health a top priority.

The list goes on and on.  But will you?  Go on and on, I mean. To do the hard work that has to be done to be great.

Only the mediocre are at their best every day.

Go Daddy Is Awesome

Go Daddy is awesome.  The past two days I’ve reconnected with Go Daddy, and remember why I love them so much.

They offer world class customer service.  Consistently. Great product.  Great price. Great selection.  Great service.

That’s all a person can ask for, isn’t it?  That a company would live up to their promise every day, with every interaction.

Impossible?  Probably.  But Go Daddy seems to have a much higher “success rate” than most companies I’ve worked with over 50 years.

Anyway, WordPress updates are done.  Web analytics are clearer.  Web statistics are way up.  Double and triple in many areas.  The reason? Because of people like you, reading this now.

THANK YOU!

Because Walt said so, that’s why!

Ever heard that phrase, the one that an angry, frustrated adult might say to a young child, “Because I said so?”

Most of us have heard it.  Most of us have also said it.  “Because I said so!”

I know when I hear an adult saying this to a child, there is absolutely no mistaking who’s in charge, is there?

It’s crystal clear, isn’t it?

Why?  Not really sure.  It just is.  Period.  End of story.

Same with the Walt Disney Company.

Why do they focus on, and some might even say obsess over, the small details that most people will never notice?

Because Walt said so!

That’s good enough for me.  I’ve heard enough stories about what their founder valued that it’s crystal clear to me what I should do everyday.

How is it with you and your people, in your organization?

Most people haven’t got time, or motivation, to think about simple questions like this.

And people wonder why it’s so challenging to get people motivated to do a great (not good) job.

I’m certain, today, that being a great organization starts with me.

What are you certain about?

Please consider making it a GREAT day, because if you don’t, who will?  Carpe diem, jungle jeff  🙂

When Passion, Will, and Opportunity collide

What happens when passion, will, and opportunity collide?  Impossible becomes possible!

While many know me as a “Disney Fanatic“.   Only a handful truly comprehend the passion to do something great, and, the will to do something great, that has been with me all my life.

Are you a dreamer of impossible dreams?

I would bet you are.

Most humans are.  It’s part of our DNA.  Cavemen dreamed of auto insurance, and, reliable fire.  Walt Disney dreamed of creating a place where families could do fun things together.  Roger Bannister dreamed of running one mile in less than four minutes.

I dream of changing the world.

Funny thing about many dreams.  Once the impossible is accomplished, it ends up becoming business as usual.

Quote me on this one, “If your goal isn’t impossible, you’re not reaching high enough“.

Carpe diem, jungle jeff  🙂
