Emergency return home, work

Hurricane Milton forecast
7pm update. Still aimed at our home. We made the right decision.

Banff Day 1, work

Banff and lake Louise logo with bear claw
Banff is a short drive from Lake Louise Inn where we are staying.

At the Banff Visitor Center.

Feels good to be here.

Cheryl booked a gondola ride and a glacier excursion (for tomorrow), even before we got our Lake Louise Inn room keys.

One Million acres, work

Worth a second look. Have spent 20+- nights here.
One-second video: Fish Creek drains into Lake McDonald, pictured here. Gunsight Mountain which cradles Sperry Chalet, is in the upper right horizon above.

It is fun to think about Glacier like Disney’s Magic Kingdom. There’s the onstage portion and the backstage portion.

Have seen plenty of both.

The walkable backstage areas are much larger than the walkable onstage areas.

i am grateful to feel confident in my belief.

Confidence brings me peace and contentment.

Note: Today’s photos are from an emergency tooth crown installment. Thanks to Steve and Stacy for inviting their daughter and son-in-law (Dr Greg) to our last “Campfire burgers” get together.
