Company Blogs and Corporate Blogging?

Company Blogs and Corporate Blogging?

What is it?  How is it done?

And most importantly, what blogging policies and guidelines are best?

Here’s an article I just read that will start with the policy basics.  Simple structure that isn’t too complicated.  Click here to read: Corporate Social Media Policy

I’ll be following it as it looks to be a great, and credible, source of valuable tips to make it easier to move forward, safely, with corporate social media.

Make it a great day.  And thank you for visiting jungle jeff.net, Daily Reflections on Excellence.  Carpe diem, jeff 🙂

Disney, ESPN, Disney Channel, Walt Disney?

Disney, Walt Disney, Pixar, ABC, ESPN, Disney Channel, Hannah Montana, Jonas Brothers, Rascal Flatts, Disney Studios, Bob Iger, Disneyland, Disneyland Paris, Hong Kong Disneyland, Tokyo Disneyland, The Walt Disney World Resort, plus dozens more Disney brands.

Everyday I read or hear of several more companies that use blogs, Facebook, Flckr, LinkedIn, You Tube, Twitter and various other forms of Social Marketing.

Some call it Social Networking, or Social Media.  At the end of the day, for me, it’s entirely about marketing.

What do you know about keywords, tags, meta tags, titles, SEO, search engines, social marketing, etc?

Exactly!

Best wishes for your purposeful plan today.  Carpe diem, jungle jeff 🙂

So, If Obama Has a Blog….

Did you know that President Obama, and The White House, have a blog?

Seriously.

So what does that mean?

Well, to me, it means that blogging, Facebook, etc., are more common and socially acceptable than most realize.

Then, what does that mean?

I think it means that it’s also good, even critical, for business.

What I mean by that is this:  “If I have to explain the business case for blogs and other social business networking, than you have some catching up to do“.

Seriously.  Get on the bus, or get left behind.  Or at the very least, you’ll be playing catch up.

This is simply a personal opinion.  One that’s as simple as suggesting that exercising several days a week is good for our overall personal health.  That doesn’t need any explaining either, does it?

Zappos Creating A “Disney Institute”?

This morning’s “Disney Institute” Googel Alert captured an article on Zappos legendary customer service.   Even going as far to say they might follow Disney Institute , and teach others their rabid passion for customer service.

Will they?

Here’s the article link: What Does Zappos.com Sell, Really ?

When it comes to customer service, whether you’re fanatical like Disney, or rabid like Zappos , it sure seems like a great idea to love your customers and make them feel like rock stars.
