Disney is everywhere

Toy Story 4 debuted the day before we arrived. We hope to see it at the Island Cinema (next to Bailey’s Store).
Cheryl noticed Mickey as our groceries were scanned. Never noticed it as i selected it in the produce section.

Disney is everywhere.

Disney is so pervasive that it can be right in front of you and you can’t see it.

Attention to detail in world-class service can be similar.

So much detail that you can’t recognize the superior attention to it.

You might only recognize something when the detail is missing.

Take cleanliness at a Disney Theme Park for example.

You expect it but you really don’t notice how remarkable it is.

You’d only start to notice if we weren’t keeping everything so clean.

Do you know your company’s values?

We are trading high-mountain snow banks for sea-level sand beaches.

My company’s six key priorities, in order:

  1. Honesty
  2. Behave admirably
  3. Personal responsibility
  4. Self-control
  5. Initiative
  6. Fun
  7. (Bonus) Contribution

The last one is most important, but everything has to start with honesty (the conduit for trust). Trust is the most important value.

You Know What He Told Me?

Business Consultant
Business Consultant

Ever ask a nine-year old for business advice?  I did recently.

Pondering the pros and cons of going solo versus partnering, on a special project.  So, just for kicks, I asked my son (9).

He said, “Two heads are better than one”.

For the next few minutes, my son and I waited for our friend to arrive.

The correct answer in hand, we had a great meeting.
