Pack a few laughs

Yesterday after Mass.

i know you don’t have 17 minutes to watch this TEDx Talk. But your time crunch doesn’t stop me from posting the video (today, December 9) so i can watch it on February 9.

Note: Have watched it twice this week. It delighted and inspired me more than expected.

Another big part of my Next + is laughter.

Stumbling can be good

Trail Magic: when your business trail leads others to organizational vibrancy. Photo: screen shot from one of Evan’s video trailers.

Stumbling can be good sometimes.

Earlier this week i stumbled upon a digital storyteller.

We both loved the insane serendipity to our connection. So random.

So potentially important.

We talk in a few days.

Why wait?

Thursday afternoon can be late to plan for a Friday meeting. Then there’s the weekend, etc.

PS. Happy Saturday (as i write this).

Disney’s world-famous Jungle Cruise

Disney’s world-famous Jungle Cruise is being made into a movie.

That Weird Al would make a music video (above) adds some additional credibility to the role of “Skipper”.

That my Disney Keynote Speaker website is named https://JungleJeff.com is really the credibility pinnacle for the Disney Attraction.

Keep your goals to yourself (short video)

Mickey Mouse Hat smiley face on dinner table cloth last night.

Keep your goals to yourself.

The 3-minute video shares a phenomenon that i have personally experienced in both publicly announcing goals and with keeping goals private.

It’s always a better outcome when i keep big goals private until they are accomplished.

Too much false sense of progress in announcing. Simply proclaiming a goal temps us to believe progress has been made.

Rubbish.

Listen to Walt Disney’s words about technology

There’s a (not too) “hidden” Walt in the background.

Listen to Walt Disney’s words about technology…

Listening to Walt, the more things change, the more they stay the same.

Technology has always existed.

What changes is our understanding of what customer’s need and want from our Company and our Company’s collective ability to find any means (often through, but not limited to, technology) to exceed the expectations.
