Person 1: Are you ready for your annual work evaluation?

Person 2: Yes.

Person 1: Do you write a lot of stuff about how great you are on the self evaluation forms?

Person 2: Yes… but it doesn’t matter.

Person 1: Then why do you write so much stuff?

Person 2: So I can look back and have a record of all the stuff I did.

Person 1: Ok.

How Often Do You Say, Can’t Wait To Tell Them?

Innovation in leadership, or anything else, only comes from continuous pursuit.

So one of the mini-epiphanies from the leadership class wasn’t even anything that was said or experienced. It resulted from my mind wondering to the program I’m teaching this morning. If you stop learning about leadership today, today you’re the best leader you will ever be for the rest of your career.

First of all, it’s amazing this is the first post here since November 17, 2008.  Can you believe that?

I can’t.  It boggles the mind how time flies.

Anyway, wanted to ask you this.  “Does Tiger Woods have a coach”?

Is his coach a better golfer? Then why on earth does Tiger have a coach? Seriously. Have you ever thought about that?
