The next book project begins today
The next book project begins today.
Had been waiting for a milestone date to begin writing the next book, featuring what i learned (and taught) from a lifetime at Disney.
Only recently did i target our son’s birthday, August 12.
However, after what was revealed yesterday, August 3, i am beginning today.

Halloween has a second significant meaning
If we don’t make a fuss over these milestones and anniversaries, no one will.
Disney taught me to make a fuss over the details that most rarely fuss over.
Why?
Because over managing the details that others under manage or ignore is the secret sauce for world class results.
One year ago today, i turned in my full-time Disney Cast Member id and received a brand new Disney Cast Member Retiree id.

“I’m going to Disney World!”
First stop, the original Walt Disney World Corporate Headquarters before Team Disney was opened in 1991, to thank his wife for her support. Then on to Disney’s Magic Kingdom Theme Park (clock tower shows 12:20pm) for a perfectly timed viewing of the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade and lunch at Columbia Harbour House.
Next stop a trip where it all began on January 25, 1982. And on the walk to Adventureland, a nice chat with a Walt Disney World Research Cast Member.
On the walk out, a chance meeting with the Mayor, who’s campaign slogan is “Pull the lever, vote for Weaver.”
Luck favors the prepared.
