In the blink of an eye, right?

At the risk of sounding boringly redundant, it’s incomprehensible to comprehend the consecutive days streak – five daily differently-themed blog posts on five individual sites.

Seven full years of never missing a single day.

Looking back, it flew by.

(Note: i savored each day. That’s a lot of savoring.)

On April Fool’s Day 2009, jeff noel began writing five daily, differently-themed blogs (on five different sites). It was to be a 100-day self-imposed “writer’s bootcamp”, in preparation for writing his first book. He hasn’t missed a single day since.

Insist on taking the best risks you can take

Disney Conference Keynote Speaker
This was a silly photo idea last week. i like it though. In the far left shadow hides the photographer.

Are you getting your money’s worth?

Insist on taking the best risks you can take.

  1. Expect to fail, expect to lose, expect some pain.
  2. Expect to succeed, expect victories, expect great joy.

You can’t have one set without the other.

We know this, yet behave like we don’t.

i get jazzed by acting like i not only know it, but by embracing it for all it’s worth.

No chance of moving on to thriving

Orlando's Best Disney Keynote Speaker

(photo: No sense trying to reinvent the wheel. Set the bar as high as Disney sets it – to be the most admired company in the world)

To become the most admired keynote speaker and business management consultant in the world.

The kind of partner that will never tell you what you want to hear, only what you need to hear.

Hire the very best you can afford. Your future hangs in the balance. Leadership is the silver bullet.

Cut to the chase quickly and powerfully.

The sooner the better. Time is money. Time is often a matter of survival.

No chance of moving on to thriving if all our time (and money) is spent trying to stay alive.

PS. Marketing exploits accomplishments, benefits, features. Marketing and humility are not mutually exclusive, right?

The Transition (December 2014)

Orlando Executive Coach jeff noel

(photo: Top floor, corner office… have had one, officially, since January 1, 2009)

The Transition (December 2014).

It begins today, December 1st.

But it’s been going on for some time.

In fact, for almost six years.

What’s crazier still is that this post isn’t being written in December, it’s being written in August.

This really is the countdown to September 27, 2014.

It marks the official 30 years of service anniversary.

There’s a trophy and a banquet.

That would be really nice.

Since the first week of June the option to retire at any given moment has been available.

The thought of leaving feels like death.

The thought of the new work to be done feels like God’s calling.
