So then how much drive and desire is enough? In our (assumed) quest for personal leadership excellence, do we pursue what’s easier to do and what we like to do, or do we work ridiculously (and continually) hard at having a balanced approach?
What if a business didn’t focus on these five: Leaders, Employees, Customers, Financials, Innovation? What if they were good at two, three or even four, but deficient at the other(s). Now apply that to our personal life: Mind, Body, Spirit, Money, HQ. How much is enough?

Mid Life Celebration began so quietly and humbly in 2009. The growth in visits, hits, page views – mind boggling. A father’s desire to leave a trail for his young son was the critical momentum needed to honor a 30-year promise to write a book about life for his kids.
Well, jeff noel has only one “kid” (11). And his trail is 4,500 posts long, or about 900 for each of Life’s Big Choices – Mind, Body, Spirit, Money and HQ. A trail long enough and balanced enough to resonate with many others.

Midlife Celebration’s jeff noel has never felt more desire to write differently. His passion to simply write, same as it was April 1, 2009 – the day the 100-day writing challenge began. What’s different now is that an incredible foundation, 4,500+ (prolific) blog posts, has relieved the urgency of leaving a foundational trail for his son (11).
With the foundation done, it’s time for some midlife creativity and Baby Boomer innovation. The desire to strike out on a generational game-changing path quickens his pulse. Vince Lombardi must have felt the same way.
