Someday, Maybe, A Humble Servant.
Twitter bio, 2008 probably. Love the ‘early-days’ glimpse: Someday, maybe, a humble servant.

Upgraded the generic WordPress homepage screen using a personal photo. Not a coder. Not a graphic artist. So i did the best i could with the basics.
During 2008-09 USA financial collapse, Cooper became our third Lab. Teaching him some swimming basics in the early weeks of his short life. Cooper died suddenly at Sanibel Island four years after this photo.
Another Year Has Come & Gone
Even as late as February 2009, had no idea i would pick April Fools’ Day as a final attempt ‘daily-blogging attempt”.

Three-week countdown, work…

At work, career-wise, it’s literally impossible to comprehend the daily blogging effort.

What’s incomprehensible is that i began doing this prolific writing stuff while fully employed, traveling extensively, married, dad, and training for the 2009 Master’s Track and Field World Championships to be held in Finland.

Just one photo, work

mountains
Everything in this photo is just to the right of Mount Grinnell (barely out of the pic, on the left). Mount Wilber is center-stage here. This entire horizon/ridge is a continuation of the Continental Divide. Also, this is another long-shot, looking west, at Swiftcurrent Valley. Swiftcurrent Mountain, far left ridge, seems small here.

Planned freedom, work

Photo from our driveway.

Planned freedom, work.

What a crazy concept.

Freedom at work.

Planned.

Rate yourself. At work.

Over time, imagine…

The work-freedom you planned for during your career.

Satisfied?

We have more photos of this location, more memories, than any other Glacier location. Mt Oberlin is a close second, but Cheryl hasn’t been there yet. She’s been super close, but not to the summit.

Teach hope…

At work?

Yes.

The bar doesn’t lower when you show up at work.

End of story.

Ps. Happy present moment.

Harvest hope, work

Guess? Yep. From our back deck from our cabin.

Harvesting a lifetime of work.

Then you get to retire from a lifetime of work.

What’s the harvest?

Whatever you sowed.
