Disney name tag places this photo 2014 or earlier. Disney content was all i taught at Disney Institute from 1999-2014. The world-class Disney Business architecture is timeless. The Disney content DNA existed even before i was born. However, the style in which i taught was/is one of a kind. i self-directed that narrative. From my own experience as an adult learner: driven largely by how boring most adult to adult teachers/speakers are.

Content should start by being simple, key, repeatable.

Content should always be broad and deep.

Content is best shared through story, activity, questions, discussion, emotions.

Content is the tool with which you teach others.

Brand and loyalty are synonymous.

One-week countdown, work

Started seeing five everywhere. Even on the floor.

Focus, discipline, and vision are hard to beat.

i didn’t have any for daily blogging.

But…

The newly resurfaced 1979 goal to write a book for my kids ignited a fire that could last, or quickly become only ashes.

Looked like the fire was quickly going out.

From October 2008 through March 31, 2009, i had literally nothing to show.

No writing focus.

No writing discipline.

But i did have an old, dusty, 30-year old dream to write a book for my kids.

And the idea hit me…

Vision

Vision is your true north.

True north is what you see as your lifelong goal and the direction you need to go to get where you want to go.

Personal vibrancy is true north.

Career vibrancy is one of five interconnected critical pillars that build personal vibrancy.

Vision…

Challenging to articulate. Maybe even impossible to achieve. You never say it the same way twice.

Envision a future not only better than now, but much better than now.

Everything: every thought, decision, action, reflection, improvement supports your vision of the future.
