Weeping Wall

Weeping Wall is a memorable location.

To be in this place, with no cars, for the entire day, is remarkable.

Unrushed.

A definite “how bad do you want to do this” endeavor.

All the creeks and waterfalls are on full blast.

Stunningly quiet without vehicular motor noise.

Occasionally noisy with joyous and exuberant yelling.

Pushing Music genre tradition

Pushing Music genre tradition.

That’s what a Musical artist does.

Music genres should be appreciated and enjoyed by anyone, anywhere.

Holding onto dogma and tradition, in anything, holds the world back from a lot of goodness.

It can also create chaos.

Many people are not comfortable with their version of life…being redefined. Redefining is always happening. Change is the only constant. We forget that what we grew up with was not the way it was 20, 50, 100 years prior.

This is why love and diversity are omnipotent.

Jackson 5 and The Osmonds

Grew up with Michael Jackson and Donny Osmond. We were roughly the same age. They were musical prodigies and the rest of the world was blessed to enjoy their Family entertainment mega-success.

The 1960’s Pop radio influenced countless young people.

My dad was a professional drummer. He also worked five and a half days (every week) at the Town Paper Mill. After work Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, Dad (Jack) gave several hours of 30-minute drum lessons in our living room.

My Aunt, Jack’s younger sister, went on to become an Elementary School Music teacher. She has always been and continues to be a Church organist.

My contribution to music is simple and microscopic – a primal love for what music does to the human spirit.

Reagan telling Russian jokes

Reagan telling Russian jokes is a reasonable break from Thich Quang Duc.

As serious as life is, we should also balance it with a full measure of levity and non-sense.
