Orange Mountain Ash berries. Gradually turning deep red in mid-to-late September in Glacier National Park. Photo: Late July in GNP.

You get closer to peace and contentment (and understanding) when you know how the seasons work, why they work, and what you get when they work.

St Mary Lodge's West Motel
Before picking up Cheryl at airport, i scouted the rooms while the housekeepers were cleaning them and then asked for room 758.

St Mary, day 3, work

Mountain lake
Iconic Wild Goose Island on St Mary lake. The most photographed spot in Glacier National Park. Literally our first stop on Going-to-the-Sun Road after arriving in St Mary.

Divide Mountain. An iconic St Mary Peak.

You think you know it all.

And then you get a lesson you didn’t expect nor hope for.

And once again, life lets you “level-up”.

What an unexpected, welcomed gift.
