Don’t ya just love technology?  The more we do something, the less fearful we are of it.  That’s one of the key drivers that makes many people want to try something new – to lessen fear.

And that’s one of our key accountabilities as a leader, isn’t it?  To lessen fear.  Carpe diem.

PS. Skyped a friend in South Africa yesterday.   Wasn’t exactly fearful of it, but had never done an International video chat before. Now I wonder why I waited so long.  It was ridiculously easy.

Seth Godin’s book, Purple Cow, is about how to be remarkable.  If you’ve ever flown before, you know what a flight attendant does.

OK, I’ve seen a ton of flight attendants. There are the traditional items that must be covered.

But how there are covered has yet to be defined, or may never be defined. This Southwest Airlines Flight attendant is remarkable.

Bottom line:  in a highly competitive world, playing it safe is risky.

Is Social Media ( socialnomics ) a fad?  Did you know an utterly foolish and senseless person is defined as an idiot?   Strong language?  No. Simply a fact.

Did you know that ignoring facts (say, global warming) doesn’t make them go away?
