Like the one yesterday, with the potential for a keynote speech – but it conflicts with one of 2018’s five Glacier writing trips.

By the way, this is the third consecutive Summer i’ve not taken speaking engagements from May 30 – September 30.

And there’s an exception to literally every rule, except death and taxes.

Back to the email, the upside is it’s in the middle of a 10-day trip and a three-day break in the middle is doable.

The client saw me two months ago and liked what he saw.

Now he’s interested in bringing it to his annual global conference in Atlanta.

The call is in 3.5 hours.

What a marvel the past three days have been.

Short.

Days.

Wonderful days.

Working days.

Remarkably blessed and fruitful days.

All the hard work that began (even months before i officially incorporated a business), is yielding a steady harvest of positive benefits for clients and owner.

It’s been harder, and better, than i dreamt.

Did I mention that i did the same group shot at Hidden Lake Overlook.

A couple embraced me when i asked them, “Would you mind taking a few photos?”

It was fun bending the rules, to work within the parameters the National Park Service put in place to discourage “risk taking and poor judgment”.

i colored outside the lines by going a few feet off the trail to take the Disney Character photos. It felt 100% safe.
