Email from the Real Estate Company President…yesterday…
On another note, I wanted you to know that we did an anonymous survey of all of our attendees to our Leadership Conference in Orlando. Consistently, your session was ranked highest among the feedback we rec’d. Additionally, you were ranked as the favorite speaker (I was a close 6th…haha). I share this with you to know you are doing something right. Your approach to your audiences and their need for takeaways is working. Keep up the good work my friend.

Complete and utter “insider”.
Relevant experience from the past and the present.

PS. Note…that is what positive self-talk looks like. i never say stuff like that publicly. Every once in awhile, though, i write it here in the (faint) hope that if something bad ever happens to me, our son will have a chance to discover some of this.
It was serendipity that a Disney College Program intern and i were discussing career stuff just yesterday and she asked, “Do you have any speaking tips?”
Of course.
In sharing them, it was a good warmup for tomorrow and Friday.
