Pamela really wants jeff noel’s feedback

Ellie Caulkins Opera House event
My seat is front row, center.

Pamela really wants jeff noel’s feedback.

Why?

Guess.

Sorry, that was arrogant wasn’t it?

We see what we want to see.

It is quiet, secure confidence.

You want to be on a stage and light a room of 600 on fire, you better damn well have confidence pouring out your veins.

PS. Note…that is what positive self-talk looks like. i never say stuff like that publicly. Every once in awhile, though, i write it here in the (faint) hope that if something bad ever happens to me, our son will have a chance to discover some of this.

Call came in from Malaysia

Disney Jungle Cruise boat bumper sticker
Yesterday, May 5, 2015…a cool bumper sticker.

Velarie is 12 hours ahead. No big deal. It was 8:45pm last night when she rang my iPhone.

She had Googled “Best HR Management speakers in USA”.

And found me a few weeks ago. We began emailing and finally arranged for last night’s call.

Marcus Evans is a global event company. While speaking to 100 Malaysian Government sector HR executives for free will not work out, perhaps another event with a larger, more profit centered audience will.

Time will tell.

It always does.

Fast Company Article on Disney My Magic project

“This better work”, Bob Iger said three times to Tom Staggs as one of the Walt Disney Company’s most important modern day meetings concluded.

This better work.

The Fast Company article summarizes what i’ve been saying for years:

There probably hasn’t been a day in the past 10 years where we have not said, “We should have never done this.”

Beginning tomorrow, a new chapter at junglejeff.net:

If Disney Ran Your Life: Your owner’s manual to greatness and success

Aha moments are addicting

Blueberry picking near Disney World
He’s not a nut job, he’s a fruitcake…during yesterday’s 10-miler.

He’s a thinker, not a writer.

He writes, but only to get the relentless flow of thoughts on paper.

He’s entertaining, not an entertainer.

His speeches are engaging, but only to allow the audience to deeply experience the insights.

He writes more than he speaks, the same way Usain Bolt trains more than he races.

This post was an aha moment last night.
