Disney business and leadership speakers for organizational change

Disney, culture, change, speakers
Critical question: Do all your employees believe your organization’s culture is worth defending?

Big companies.

Leaders with broad spans of control.

Hundreds (thousands?) of histories of trusted relationships from working together.

All of the above while speaking and advising at Disney Institute.

During yesterday’s 10am client meeting, an epiphany of sorts.

If he hires me again, that will bring to four, in 2016, the number of client’s who want more than just a keynote speech featuring Disney business insights.

Interesting to say the least.

Any additional requests will likely have to wait for 2017, and that may not be available if this year’s clients continue on (and it makes perfect sense to) the long and winding road to organizational vibrancy.

A top Disney culture expert claims employees become what they see everyday.

Culture in any form is driven by the predominant habits of the collective group.

In business, this has the potential to become a differentiating asset called organizational vibrancy.

At Disney, it’s known as the Disney Difference.

Sure, Delta Airlines has been breaking the mold for years with their humorous safety videos. Qantas is doing the same thing, but without the humor. Instead, they connect from a different angle, using a deep emotional connection. They are banking on a different human motivation to ensure their passengers watch.

Everything sends a message about what you value

Healthcare provider mission statement
Wow, can’t help but wonder how many patients care about the first sentence.

Tattered sign in medical office
Everything speaks. What does a front and center sign (first thing you see) say to a new patient?

Everything sends a message to customers:

  • People (employees)
  • Processes (policies, procedures, tasks)
  • Place (physical, virtual, phone, forms, etc)

During tomorrow’s arrival for our Son’s colonoscopy, betting i’ll see more.

PS. During yesterday’s dry run drive and office visit, i snapped the two photos. When i left i couldn’t get the (only) patient exit door open. The receptionist said, “You have to push really hard.”
