Professionally at Sea all day, heading East.

After yesterday’s visit to Georgetown, we enjoyed a late lunch back aboard the Disney Fantasy.

The food amounts, quality, and variety is decadent.

While i try to suspend reality on a get-a-way vacation, it’s impossible not to think about living on a planet with regions of widespread famine.

Ps. It was Pirate’s day onboard. And the evening entertainment in the Walt Disney Theater was Coco.

Coco was just as good as our first viewing Thanksgiving Day.

Tie one on.

Luke Skywalker is the Hope the resistance needs.

Without Luke – without Hope – it’s over.

Skywalker is the catalyst.

A catalyst and a spark are the same.

Catalyst.

No spark, no fire.

No fire, no hope.

No hope, no plan.

No plan, no transformation.

No plan, the resistance (fear, doubt and mediocrity) wins.

Professionally at Sea all day today, heading to Cozumel.

The days are long, the years are short.

When you are working through your day to day routine, the days are long.

Yet your years seem to fly by.

On a luxury cruise, it’s the days that fly by, not the years.

How does this opposite effect happen?

Magic.

Professionally heading out for a Disney Cruise this morning

Walt Disney signature
March 1923: Walt Disney telling Roy Disney the gist of Walt’s New York meeting regarding Oswald the Lucky Rabbit.

ROY O DISNEY

LEAVING TONIGHT STOPPING OVER KC ARRIVE HOME SUNDAY MORNING SEVEN THIRTY DONT WORRY EVERYTHING OK WILL GIVE DETAILS WHEN ARRIVE

WALT

Walt would recall later, “I was all alone back then, i didn’t even have a Mouse.”

It was on that infamous train ride from New York to California that Walt drew Mickey Mouse for the first time.

Walt replaced Oswald the Lucky Rabbit’s tail with a longer, skinny tail and he replaced the long tall bunny ears with big round mouse ears.

Every Company has a story.

The great ones use their story in intentional ways.
