The treatment is so ridiculously simple

The treatment is so ridiculously simple.

Corporate culture can be distilled to one thing and only one thing – habits.

And habits are formed through repetition.

Change the pattern, change the habits.

What’s missing is the vision of the perfect pattern. For example:

  • Not a speck of trash on the ground. Anywhere.
  • Every customer’s expectations are exceeded at every touch point.
  • Every employee feels respected, appreciated, and valued. Everyday. All day.

Have fun today and be amazing.

It’s your habit.

Right?

Challenging the status quo. Almost always at the chagrin of authority.

It would be easier, of course, to simply accept the critical mass (momentum) of the herd – aka status quo.

The way we’ve always done things.

Predictable.

Safe.

Go with the flow.

Nothing wrong with these things.

Unless you talk all the time about innovation.

Then you sort of suck if you don’t actually challenge everything.

Taking risks is risky. So is playing it safe.

But it just doesn’t feel right.

(photo: You can cover a fair piece of ground in 80 minutes.)

We set the call for 9:40am. He wanted to see if a former Disney Institute Professional Speaker might be a right fit for his client.

The run became extended – much longer than expected, so the call was placed from Disney’s Magic Kingdom Cast Member parking lot.

Seriously. Just standing in a parking lot, negotiating….

His client owns, as he states, “The Country’s most profitable Casino“, in Syracuse, New York.

After the call, walked over to Disney University for a drink of water and then began the three mile walk home.
