What an executive resource always does

.think .differently keynote slide
The answer when i’m asked, “What’s my superpower?”

What an executive resource always does:

Always asks why is your vision important.

Always asks how bad do you want it, and why.

Always asks what are you willing to do to achieve it.

Always uses questions, common sense, and paradox.

Always uses personal stories, activities, and discussion.

Always has fun.

Brand loyalty resource

To whom are you loyal?

Why?

For how long?

Could you use a world-class Disney Brand Loyalty resource this year?

Why did i ask you the first three questions?

Because if you understand what someone is doing to make that emotional connection with you, there’s a 100% chance your company cannot figure out how to scale that same feeling for all your customers (and employees).

Ps. Employees are customers too.

Pss. Do you know how to ‘process map’ your customer (and employee) experience?

How did you not see that?

mobile view of webpage
How did you not see that? Immediately added an “a”.
list of 17 items
How do leaders not see these?

How did you not see that missing “a”, jeff?

Everyone else sees it the first time they see (read) it. i’ve read it dozens of times.

So me not seeing the missing “a” is remarkable because i’m the only one who doesn’t see it. Everyone else sees it. How can they not?

But i saw it yesterday. Finally.

Was prompted to re-read my junglejeff.com website copy after talking with a Disney leader yesterday.

Now let’s return to the other part of my thinking this through, after reading not only the page i added the “a” to, but one of the last pages on my JungleJeff.com website…

As i read the list of 17 (second photo above) it dawned on me immediately–no one is thinking about nor asking about these 17.

So most everyone* not seeing anything from the “list of 17” is remarkable because i’m literally the only one who sees it. Basing this assumption from extensive research (since joining Disney Institute in 1999) inside 2,000+ organizations.

*The know is to do. To know and not do is to not yet know. (final answer)
