Last night. You are looking at 66 years combined Disney Leadership experience.

Bottom line: culture equals habits, habits equal results, therefore culture equals results.

It’s easy to dismiss the previous sentence because it’s ridiculously simple and painfully obvious.

Simple and obvious have an insidious way of being immediately dismissed.

Fatal error in judgement.

Upgrades are more expensive because they include more.

Then there are upgrades for volume, with corresponding volume discounts. The longer you stay, the less you pay.

Pricing and such:

Retail keynotes: WDW & Orlando $20k, USA, Canada, Mexico $25k, cross an Ocean/Sea $30k and up.

Retail half-days: add $5k to each Keynote price.

Retail full-days: $39k up to 20 people. $929pp after 20 and up to 48 ($65k).

Retail Custom: Add $15k to any size/price (48 people maximum). For example, 20 people ($39k) plus $15k for custom delivery is $54k.

Retail Boutique Organizational Vibrancy: $15k/hour.

Depending on your location, a travel allowance fee (usually $1.5k) will compliment the contract. Bundled together are: first-class airfare, ground transportation, and meals. Also, you book and pay for two-night Hotel stay.

Two discounts available: for 100% pre-payment at contract signing. Additional discount for contracted and upfront payment on volume engagements commitment. Note: both discounts can be combined for even greater savings. And of course, if your event is in Orlando, enjoy an automatic 20% discount.

Why would anyone gladly pay a premium

Why would anyone gladly pay a premium when there are other providers offering a “same category” product or service at a significantly lower price?

Prevailing wisdom suggests more often than not, we get what we pay for.

Go to an Apple Store (or Apple.com) and try to negotiate a lower price for any Apple product. Not gonna happen.

i could go on a long riff about this but won’t (because i actually did riff-on but deleted it shortly after it posted).

The photo above is from my Honeymoon. It was a 17-day trip with $200 dollars in our pockets. We covered 600 miles. Not most 20-somethings’ vision of a Honeymoon.

Thinking, and more importantly doing, differently wasn’t learned at Disney, it was glorified.

The text came in last night that i had hoped wouldn’t.

We are somewhere close to being 100% apart on cost.

i am rationally realistic that i must begin to accept that walking away is a distinct possibility.

It will be a last resort.

But here’s the interesting thing, it will not take much longer to reach this decision.

Part of my brand is offering a value that is remarkably easy to take for granted.

My product holds a rare position in the management consulting business advising marketplace.

If a client can’t see it intuitively, it is likely to be a deal breaker.
