The art of creating often seems Magical

The art of creating superior products and services often seems Magical from the outside.

The reality is it’s not the Magic that makes it work, it’s the work that makes it Magic.

Even someone like Ed Sheeran knows this.

Ed wrote the song for someone else – to “give away” as he says.

Apparently, in 90 minutes, he created one of his biggest singles.

Let this karma of imperfect truth inspire you to go somewhere today you’ve never been – a place you dream of all the time but don’t think is possible.

Are your toughest work days bearable?

expedia car rental
Sweat the details before you need to, and maybe you won’t have to. Lower left…free cancellation. Book months in advance and if plans change, no worries about cost obligations. Wait too long to book, and choices and prices change unfavorably.

Are your toughest work days bearable?

What if they (consistently) were?

Travel is picking up and part of my role as an Army of One is to book things in the most effective (time) and efficient (cost) way possible. Stayed up past normal bedtime to be caught up through October.

Click bait and the 360

click bait
Click bait, which you’ll see in the next photo. Spoiler, there is no free reveal of the customer needs secrets. It was a trick.

click bait
Click bait. PS. Comprehensive understanding of your customer’s needs is the ticket to the dance every business has to buy. i reveal (for a fee, always for a fee – it’s my expertise/profession) the 300% left on the table that 99.9% companies unintentionally neglect.

Does your job (and life) feel like a trap or does it feel like mission work?

When you hear the morning wake-up sound, your answer speaks for itself.

PS. Congrats, or, good luck.

Where is your shop?

Glacier National Park
Ever dream of being a National Park Ranger? Where? Did you want to retire from it?

Where is your shop?

Shop is metaphorical for work.

Every generation experiences a major disruption during their career.

Some form of technological advancement changes the way work (and life) gets done.

The current digital age isn’t disruptive to the generation growing up with it.

It’s disruptive to everyone else who’s become comfortable (and complacent) with the status quo.

Note to self – there is never a time when we can coast and expect to not get left behind.

At work.

At home.

Fear is relentless

Zappos school of wow
Stumbled upon this yesterday. My work ethic tells me to attend to benchmark. What will i miss (fear) if i don’t attend?

Fear (sometimes disguised as doubt or procrastination) is relentless.

The best weapon against fear is a strong work ethic.
