Die with zero, work

Die With Zero is a book i heard about from a social media post while waking up this morning.

In summary it promotes dying rich with experiences, not rich with money.

To professionally (career) die with zero, to me, is to die with zero wishes to have had more passion and commitment at work.

How does shedding work?

How does shedding work?

It’s kinda like learning to walk.

Desire. Possibility. Freedom from crawling.

So, first, you feel the need for it.

Then you experiment with how and what to shed.

You are obviously clueless how it works but you start trying anyway.

And like anything you’ve ever practiced, you learn from trying.

You eventually recognize, fairly easily, what you don’t want to try again.

And, you eventually recognize also, fairly easily, what you absolutely want to try again.

Manifesting, work

Let your career goals manifest the art you seek to master.

Manifest work vibrancy through your desire to do work that never feels like work. Work that brings you joy. Work that is simply creative play and exploration.

Manifest. Do the reps. Never get bored with the basics.

Every day. All day. For your entire career. For your entire life.

Only so many, work

There are only so many things you can do especially well.

Only so many thoughts that summarize the whole work-life volume.

For example: No one on their deathbed ever said, “Wish I would have spent more time at the office.”

If you want good work

If you want good work, think about what your worst work yields you.

Then think about what your best work yields you.

So obvious, the choice.
