Countdown to Glacier 2024, work

There were three avocados growing when we left three weeks ago. Now there are two. No idea what happened to the third. This is our first season with a small avocado tree.

Without exaggeration, i ate at least one avocado a day for 20 days in Australia.

Looking forward to eating and sharing our first home-grown avocado.

Typical for Central Florida Summers, weeds flourished for the past three weeks while there was no one home to do the weed-pulling daily reps.

The good news though is i was on top of my weed-pulling game before we left three weeks ago.

And in the 24 hours since arriving home, i’m confident it won’t take long to get things back in “no weed“ condition.

Surprise and delight

What a delightful surprise.

What a delightful surprise to see Mickey Mouse at dinner.

What is interesting in this photo, to me, is what i’m wearing here:

  • Is what i wore on the plane from Orlando.
  • Is what i wore the next day to give the Disney Customer Service Keynote.
  • Is what i wore to fly home on the third day

Eventually gonna travel without a business jacket.

We shall see.

Vantage points are an advantage.

Position is only power when you are present, mindful, and motivated.

But having a vantage point is no guarantee you’ll get clarity and focus.

That’s on you to ensure.

Thank goodness for goodness

Madrid post office is two blocks from hotel.
Just getting started last night.
Last night, an hour bike ride.
Madrid park last night.

Thank goodness for goodness.

While i couldn’t get the Mobike app to work, i was able to easily unlock the bike and ride. Fully expecting to pay $1.11 per 20-minute time blocks, the app wouldn’t let me.

Grateful the bike unlocked somehow. Otherwise, the evening would have been different – still filled with goodness, but different.

Whew, time to roll up the sleeves.

Expect the unexpected.

Last June i planned to kick off Summer 2019 and arrive in Glacier National Park yesterday, June 1.

The Madrid Disney Creativity Keynote speech was a recent opportunity; it provides Thinking Heads HQ and me a chance to meet in person.

Son, plan your future intentionally. Plan to be flexible too.
