Only looking back can you understand pushing yourself with epic experiences gifts you with wisdom.

Plus, you already know you can bank on the magic of compound interest.

Begin investing money as young as possible, right?

Here’s the cool, transferable part…

Same compounding magic happens with investing in epic experiences. Wisdom gained compounds.

Succeed or fail, begin investing in epic experiences. You gain wisdom from pushing yourself outside your comfort zone.

Summer Solstice Leadership Lessons

Change the third word to never, from always.

If you never put limits on what you can do, you stretch yourself in ways that make you a better person.

Can you shun anger?

Can you be patient 100% of the time?

Can you start and run your own business?

Can you be a role model for how to live a personally vibrant life?

Pushing the limits is useless as a theory

Pushing the limits is useless as a theory.

Had to reach out to the Speakers Bureau late yesterday (Friday) to get an update.

They are going to bypass my offer and seek a lower priced contract with another speaker. Was only $1,500 away from their highest bid. Would have been easy to accept.

Why not then?

Because pushing the limits is useless as a theory.

Classic nothing ventured, nothing gained.

PS. Also asked for full payment at time of signing – the only way i could justify a reduced rate.

On April Fool’s Day 2009, jeff noel began writing five daily, differently-themed blogs (on five different sites). It was to be a 100-day self-imposed “writer’s bootcamp”, in preparation for writing his first book. He hasn’t missed a single day since.

Paint, draw, sculpt, photograph, and so on

Montessori Art Festival
We generally think of art as the creation of something visual.

Last night’s Montessori School (Toddlers to 8th grade) Art Festival was inspiring. And isn’t that the way we frame up (heuristically?) our definition of art?

Paint, draw, sculpt, photograph, and so on.

Think about what you do for a living 20 to 80+ hours a week.

Do you ever think of yourself as an artist?

And if no, why?

If yes, how hard do you push yourself?
