Journaling is career medicine

First ever spa facial. Immediately after, we drove to the podiatrist.
20-second video: Work karma. Hours ago, today, a CEO told me her organization’s new purpose is ‘to inspire’. Known her for over a decade. She’s never mentioned this. And to randomly see it in a Podiatrist’s exam room is freaky accidental coincidental.

Journaling is career medicine. You are the…

CCO: Chief Career Officer.

Told our son last week that mom and i have two Disney characteristics:

  1. We bought into Disney culture – hook, line, and sinker. We drank the Kool-Aid.
  2. We are both “goody-two-shoes“.

Writing about universal career priorities, your personal career, and your vision for the future is great medicine.

Why?

You get to search for questions no one’s ever asked. And when you find them, you get to think about your answer while simultaneously wondering why no one’s ever asked this before. Then you get to write your answer, as well as the context and backstory for the question’s origin story.

This is deep medicine. Tackling challenges and opportunities like a miracle drug.

Dear CCO: Chief Contribution Officer,

Thank you for your lifetime of continuous career improvement. We appreciate your vision, determination, and enthusiasm to dream, create, and inspire others to become a category of one: to treat your work contribution as an art form- to be an example for .thinking .differently (about everything).
