Disney World High School Marching Band, the difference a hat can make on the way people look, and even more importantly, the way they act.

Wearing a hat is a pseudo alcohol buzz.

Don a hat and we immediately feel more courage, more confidence, more bravado.

Why?

Maybe because…

Hats are often worn as part of an accomplishment: a team, an affiliation, a milestone – a proposed statement of proof that effort and dues have been paid, and that the hat stands for something important.

And sometimes, simply earning the right to go on vacation and celebrate by wearing a hat can signal proof we’ve earned something.

Put on a Disney Goofy Hat and see what permissions you immediately feel – silliness, fun, unconventional, etc.

When something is a priority, we figure out a solution. If we don’t figure out a solution, it’s not a priority.
