Return to work

Generally a Southern Rock vibe.

When you transition from time away from work to returning back to work, what’s your habitual thinking?

Excitement?

Joy?

Work road trip

Walt Disney walking on an empty Main Street at Disneyland
Walt. Photographer unknown.

Every day, i continue on a career blogging road trip that was intended to be a moderately short, 100 days.

Leaders value state changes.

Walt walked the Park when he needed to clear his head.

i “walk” my mind, body, spirit, work, and home every day.

Every day since April Fools Day 2009.

Every.

Dang.

Day.

New Territory

Residential concrete driveway being poured
You can spy, wiff your whittle eye, someone on the roof.

Because i was prepping the WordPress admins dashboard before we hopped in the car to drive to Jacksonville, i had time to discover the error, but not correct it.

This means the content, the photos and videos…too much gap from original creation to trying to recall the original.

So what you are reading is a compromise.

The content now revolves around the error opportunity that presented itself rather than what was originally created and can’t be easily recalled).

Lead your way

15-second video: 7:00AM is showtime!
Concrete crew pouring homeowner driveway
First truck. Go time!

Spent two hours sitting on the roof.

Watched.

Reflected.

Smiled.

Counted blessings.

Basked in the early Sun.

Do like you dream

Mountains
Two bikers on the left waiting for a bear to leave the road ahead.

Dreams are important for forming your current and future actions.

All year i dream of biking GTTSR.

In theory, because i have Lodge reservations for the peak biking month, it should happen every year.

In reality, it’s happened twice since 2013.

It won’t happen this year either.

Dream like you hike.

Do like you pray.
