So grateful for having to work so hard for so long.

Not only am i closing in on the eighth consecutive year of prolific blogging, i’m also one month away (as this is written) from beginning year eight as an entrepreneur. Six and a half of those years i was also working at Disney Institute.

You know those lists of great reasons – the amazing benefits that are touted –  for becoming an entrepreneur?

They are under-rated.

One of the most important things you can do as CEO of You, Inc. is be intentional about where you live – you know, where you establish your personal HQ.

Of course this is one of the most challenging assignments you’ll have as CEO, but it’s your responsibility to figure it out and make it happen.

Late yesterday afternoon afforded a little time to trim a few trees.

 

The International Graphic Designer out did herself Thanksgiving Eve (two days ago). i woke up yesterday and opened her email attachment with the draft of the trifold presentation handout design.

Stunning.

And a perfect metaphor for giving thanks.

She did what i thought was improbable. So i sent her an email sharing exactly that, exclaiming how grateful i am to get to work with her.

It felt good to have so much gratitude on Thanksgiving morning before the sun came up.

Oh my gosh, the details Clarissa has to handle, manage, and excel at. As we wrap up our first multi-layered major design project, i have an incredibly elevated appreciation for the literally countless and time-sensitive details that must be handled flawlessly.

It’s not the Magic that makes it work, it’s the way we work that makes it Magic.
