Impossible’s paradox

What is impossible’s paradox?

Impossible’s paradox is that everything has a price.

Peace and contentment has a price.

Living within your means has a price.

Setting a low bar has a price.

When one bar is too high it might poison another bar.

You may temper your career ambition and earn a significantly lower income. One benefit to this is your work doesn’t own you and you don’t bring it home with you. Conversely, you may not have the money to travel.

Paradoxically, you may have plenty of money to travel. But your work owns you and you take it everywhere. And you may not have time or focus to get and stay healthy.

Don’t look back

high school track sprint in black and white
1977. 440. Finish-line string (tape) visible across my waist.

Never looked back.

Looking back was said to shave a fraction of a second off your time.

In hindsight, turns out my races never were that close.

Yet the commitment to produce the fastest time was unshakable.

Don’t drop the ball

5-second video: Someone dropped the ‘ball’. Probably an adult because i didn’t hear anyone crying.

Wisdom comes from experience.

Experience comes from making mistakes.

Grateful to know this.

Grateful to embrace this.

Grateful to chase this.

Note: Found and told a Cast Member. Went back to the slip hazard until the Cast Member returned with a wet cloth and cleaned up the slip hazard in one fowl swoop. It was impressive. Definitely not his first rodeo.

Celebrate your Disney heritage

Disney Cast Member celebration reminder
Can’t recall where i saw this or why i saw this. Possibly a FaceBook Disney Group post.

Cleaned out roughly 1,500 Facebook (FB) posts from my account. Joined FB in 2009, by the way.

Deleted 1,000 comments too.

There are currently zero Friends in the account.

Note, prior to last week’s epic FB cleansing project, there were only 27 Friends in my account. But all of the stuff from previously having 450 Friends and being an “over-poster” still remained. It took 30 hours over six days.
