It’s been refreshing to not have to think this past week. Our itinerary, logistics, navigation, entertainment, meals, drinks, housekeeping…all taken care of by a wonderful staff.

Hard to believe this is Paris to Normandy boat cruise Day-6. We dock in Paris (our return) around 6:30pm (3-hrs from now). Dinner will be aboard our boat, not far from the Eiffel Tower.

Quite about Omaha beach on D-Day — The bloodiest most brutal phase was the first wave of American soldiers.

Normandy invasion stats — The day (D-Day) went militarily better than expected, apparently according to subject matter experts.

Knew next to nothing about D-Day’s incredible strategy and worldwide collaboration, and operational secrecy.

God bless peaceful intentions and peaceful leaders.
