Sounds fishy

Glacier National Park from continental divide
Continental Divide and a remnant of an ancient ocean bottom, at 7,000′ elevation.

Give a person a fish, you feed them today.

Teach someone to fish, you feed them forever.

In my experience, few (i used to be one of them) want to do the hard, consistent and constant work to live a balanced life.

For starters, balance is a myth has always been the prevailing and perverse societal belief.

Also for starters, balance is not a myth must crush the old paradigm.

The best fisher-people are those who believe everything is their responsibility.

Learn to masterfully feed yourself.

Then teach others, so they may pay it forward.

i get high on teaching

coaching call notes on napkin
Three ways we improve: by accident, from a sub-goal to a larger goal, and by making daily improvement a non-negotiable in the form of a “game”.

i get high on teaching.

A text sent yesterday after a 40-minute coaching call…

the gloomy cold rainy day had me think about what people might do if they had the day off…rather than drink or get high, i’d love to be absorbed in teaching (and teaching teaches me – to teach is to learn twice)

You’re a criminal, right?

Jafar eventually reaped what he had sown. Same with Ali.

When you speed, are you doing it because you love driving fast or because you are desperately trying to save a few minutes since you need those few minutes to keep your day from unraveling?

Gotta love leadership

If Disney Ran Your Life Podcast in Kuwait
The big trifecta: Jack the Bear, Stitch, and the Bead Jar. What compels a father to travel across the globe with these unnecessary travel items? It’s simple: love and leadership.

Gotta love leadership.

How can we not?

Leadership is how things get done.

Leadership is how we inspire and teach the next generation of leaders (and parents).

What’s your superpower?

From Gary V’s LinkedIn feed yesterday.
Always lean in when someone shares a thesis.
Not what i expected.

What’s your superpower?

Teaching.

Seriously, what would you say is your superpower?

Pretty cool exercise because you either know or don’t know.

Knowing is amazing.

Not knowing is a massive opportunity.
