We get stuck, stalled, sick.

In 10 days, If Disney Ran Your Life, a personal vibrancy podcast, officially launches.

It’s free, for now, and it’s different from what i’ve listened to.

It’s a difference worth exploring.

And of course, i’m only saying this because i know the owner.

Sure, you promised junglejeff.com goes live tomorrow, July 4th. And this is the third deadline you have created: June 8 your birthday, and June 25 your anniversary have come and gone. Now, July 4th.

Why?

Because you didn’t feel it represented your best foot forward. It is, after all, a Disney Keynote Speaker website.

We all struggle with feeling confident enough to launch without perfection.

At Disney we call these “Cast Member Previews”.

That’s when things are almost ready for the public, but not quite.

After Cast Preview Days, next is what we call soft-opening. This is unannounced admission into the new venue. It’s not scheduled or advertised to the public. Only the Cast know about it. The Guests are surprised and delighted to be able to “test” the experience.

It is often a highlight of their stay because they never saw it coming. Not many Guests get to participate in soft-opening.

Was quite shocked to purchase it.

Yee-haw!

Having a dot.com is a better piece of digital real estate than any other.

Location, location, location.

Domain extension, domain extension, domain extension.

PS. Today’s (June 9) reveal (rough draft form) is known only to a handful of people. However, by the the time this posts it will be polished up: .simple .corporate .different

The first draft of the new Disney Speaker website is due June 8 (my 57th birthday), which is five days away.

For the past two weeks, i’ve peeked (it’s live, but no one knows the url) but a couple days ago i made a personal commitment to wait until “Christmas morning” to look under the tree.

Exciting. Childish excitement really.

So tempting to peek.
