All humans can be leaders. Big discussions, for eons, whether leaders are born or made. We are born to lead. On the most fundamental platform, we must lead ourselves.
This requires us to decide where we want to go. This may take decades.
I was happily lost until all the hard work finally revealed my true goal. Fail along the way to discovery? Yes. Quit? No.
