Such a majestic creature. Watched it for 20 minutes last night at Two Dog Flats. Video clip below…
The Grizzly Bear is about 100 meters away…a dark speck in the photo’s center.
The magnetism of a single creature.
Grizzly Bear leadership revolves around the Grizzly’s power and tenacity to survive as well as the reverence and the mystery humans have for Grizzlies.
To see one, even from a car, and even from afar, is a moment no human will forget.
To photograph a Grizzly in the wild feels like a bucket-list accomplishment.
To be close enough to primordial reality – wild animals in the wild.

Thankful we got this view from the Grinnell Glacier Overlook hike two days ago. The weather couldn’t have been more conducive to great hiking conditions.
Chamber of commerce weather is a phrase used to describe ideal weather in the Chamber’s heartland.
That’s the weather Djuan and i experienced the day we hiked up to Granite Park Chalet.
Yesterday, however, was the opposite weather, had we stayed last night.
Approximately 8:00 AM yesterday.
About 9:00 AM.
Neither of us wanted to leave behind our second night – and the final night of the Granite Park Chalet 2019 season – yet we knew it was the right (tough) call.
Personal leadership requires focus and discipline.
Same at work.
Be amazed and be amazing.
