Daises in a small town plaza
May all your weeds be wildflowers.

Personal leadership is as simple as it gets.

Short and sweet….

Lead yourself well.

Hard stop.

GNP Day 19, work

9-second video: Context for today’s hike.

Creatively orchestrating a gradual, week-long physical adaptation from sea level to 7,000’.

The goal?

Two fold…

  • Avoid any type of soreness
  • Peak with our longest and highest hike on our final day

Any type of pain makes hiking far less enjoyable.

Pain can make a hike feel like work.

Hiking should feel like a glorious festival.

GNP Day 17, work

Woman in a creek
The water is roughly 37 degrees. A rising 11th-grader astonished the other eight. Her boldness inspired our group to go higher than the shoreline.

Solitude remakably turned into commual celebration.

What began as Renato wearing his swim shorts for the morning hike, turned into a rock-jumping and bridge jumping extravaganza.

Approximately 15 people engaged in multiple ice-cold water plunges.

It was so ’cool’. 🥳🌴🚀🏆🔥

GNP Day 16, work

9-second video: Things you miss when you are the driver.
12-second video: So much to look at. Who thinks to look up?
Disney keynote speaker jeff noel in mountains
Chillin to the sound of ’no driver responsibilities’.

Do the best you can, with what you have.

Every day.

Not just the days when it all works out as planned.

We know what makes sense.

We are capable of doing ‘what makes sense’.

Yet we loose sight of common sense because our schedule is too packed.
