Spring break, work

Married couple posing with Mickey Mouse
Two retired Disney Cast Members, with 66 combined years of Disney Service. Photo: Disneyland trip to celebrate Cheryl’s Disney retirement in February 2020. No one saw Covid-19 coming when this happened. Just rumors. No panic. No pandemic talk. One month later the world changed. Glad we got this trip in the books before the panic, uncertainty, and masks.

“Anyone else think like this” is a blog category.

Anyone else think of retirement as a potential “Spring Break” opportunity?

Will my retirement spring break last one month, one year, one decade?

Time will tell.

Be prepared, work

Being prepared is challenging.

Why?

Life.

Today’s posts are themed, as typical: mind, body, spirit, work, and home.

Be prepared to harvest, daily, and for a lifetime, the creative, and different, art you sow.

The closer to death, work

Jeff and Cheryl noel disney leaders
We found our career purpose serving others at Walt Disney World.

The closer to you get to death, the less you worry what others think about the way you found, or didn’t find, your ‘career purpose’.

Why?

Because you’ll be dead soon and nothing will matter.

Die with everything, work

Die With Zero is a book i heard about 24 hours ago.

In summary it promotes spending all your money before you die.

Professional in my career, i relentlessly pursue ‘everything’.

Professionally dying with everything, to me, is to die with everything an artist hopes for: To be a trailblazer. To develop confidence, creativity, and contribution. And while working a lifetime, to have fun, feel joy, and provide inspiration.

Die with zero, work

Die With Zero is a book i heard about from a social media post while waking up this morning.

In summary it promotes dying rich with experiences, not rich with money.

To professionally (career) die with zero, to me, is to die with zero wishes to have had more passion and commitment at work.
