Every morning. All day. Every day. Day after day.
It’s not lost on me that my clock is ticking.
It’s not lost on me that i’m five years past my ‘dead’-line.
It’s not lost on me that we are ‘time-wealthy’.
We can do whatever we want whenever we want.
This, coming from a couple that never could find time to meet for lunch while working (on-the-clock) at Walt Disney World.
It’s almost sickening to think that our work/career schedules demanded so much commitment and focus that we could not break away for a single lunch for three consecutive decades.
And in the ‘no-one-cares’ category, i still have never owned a new car.
All that to circle back and say we do what we please now.

Eight hours later for a late lunch/early dinner.
Rice boy.
Chapin’s flatmates. Sebastian heads back to Munich in a couple days. Geordie has dual citizenship here and the UK. We other three fly home to Walt Disney World in a week.
Normal is one of the most misunderstood words.

What is normal.
It depends.
It depends on who you ask.
It depends on where you are.
It depends on what dogma and traditions you’ve been exposed to.
And that’s just the proverbial tip of the iceberg.
Insight: Normal may best be defined as the opposite of harmful, unfair, uncaring.
