There are still uses for laptops and email.
However, the reasons are becoming antiquated as we move to mobile, voice recognition (replacing the keyboard), and social media platforms.
For over a year now, i’ve been calling my iPhone 7 Plus my “laptop”.
Just two days ago, i ran my Disney Leadership Keynote speech from my “laptop” – an iPhone 7 Plus.
The downside was the Bluetooth functionality wasn’t great from the floor. It even had some hiccups while i was onstage. Plowed through it because i’m determined to be an early adopter.
As a professional, i had to hide the glitches from the audience. They had no idea. It’s part of what makes Disney seem so Magical – hiding the effort required to pull off a great experience.
