Airplane isle — Frequent flier status is long gone. Seating and boarding upgrades must be purchased these days. i’m okay with this. Freedom.

Money isn’t the goal. Freedom is the goal. Learn how much money is enough and structure your lifestyle to live below your means – this is freedom.

A growth mindset is freedom too. So is physical vibrancy. As is peace and contentment. Organized priorities, decisions, and habits are also freedom.

Covid-19 has reset the way the world thinks about almost everything. None of us saw this coming. Grateful we got to experience something life-changingly positive from a devastating pandemic.

Covid-19 didn’t care (still doesn’t, after 1.5 years) what tradition, dogma, and comfort we valued most.

There’s a life lesson here.

Travel patiently

Dallas at night from plane — Dallas – Fort Worth. i have two minutes from the time we land to the time the Orlando flight departs. The gates are next to each other. There are six others going to Orlando. Odds favor us the plane will wait. Otherwise, seven people will need a hotel and flight rebooking.

Travelers show their worst when they are tired, hungry, and anxious. Traveling is not a perfect science. Having margin in your calendar enhances patience.
