Games, conversation, and bottomless hot drinks (and our bagged trail lunch) filled our afternoon hours with joy, peace, and contentment. Leading yourself is a blinding flash of the obvious. The real tests come when there’s radical departure from routine and or special plans.

Happy present 2022, work – Never forget what got you here

Writing in the dark and cold (and occasional rain) of a high mountain chalet. The five-blanket bed is nicely warmed. There’s not much to accomplish today. The basics will do fine. Stay warm and dry. Stay hydrated. Stay peaceful and content. Smile. Engage. Thrive. And if the rain stops, go for a hike.
