Only four people (who camped overnight) were in this vicinity. We are the first ‘day hikers’ to arrive.
backcountry campground sign
You need a backcountry camping permit to stay here.

When you have nothing to prove and nothing to lose, you are in rarified air.

High mountain air would be a great metaphor this month.

Freedom to try and fail.

And by the way, freedom to try and fail is radically better than failing to try.

Day 3 Walt Disney World, work

three people working on a jig-saw puzzle
i pushed the jig-saw puzzle table to the main lobby (pictured here) and pushed the main lobby table to the side sitting area. It looked awkward because the tables are so low and so far apart.

Going small, when unintentional, spawns regret.

Going small, when intentional, sows peace.

To live with peace and no regret, go big or go small.

Simply insure intentionality drives your choices.

We met yesterday at Rising Sun. A 12-year Disney Leadership veteran. First year as a GNP ‘Hotel’ GM. Turns out, Amanda, Cheryl and i know many of the same Disney people. Fun stuff. Small World.

If we think it’s a small world after all, imagine if we throw our world up against the infinite cosmos.
