Plan to expect the unexpected

In Mexico, Go The Extra Inch (GTEi) is one of three content points.

Plan to expect the unexpected.

Our plans (vision) generally turn out better or worse than expected.

Rarely is there a crystal ball type result where things go exactly as we envisioned.

The need for great structure and processes to handle the unexpected is more acute when traveling.

We will finalize our plan for Saturday’s transition to a new West Glacier Motel room while i’m speaking in Mexico.

Look at things like you mean it

Work like you mean it is a real thing.

Changing what you see changes what you think.

Changing what you think is the only way to potentially change what you do.

This riff assumes you feel you have room for growth, possibly even transformational growth.

This riff also assumes that what you see is stimulating enough to deeply catch your attention.

i changed (transformed) the way i see work getting done, that’s why i’m writing from Northwest Montana.

Live in a manner unfamiliar

HQ, headquarters…where the paperwork of life gets done.

Leadership in an inside job.

You are the CEO of You, Inc.

Learn, implement, hone, and continuously improve your personal leadership structure and processes.

Over-focusing will serve you in a manner unfamiliar to others who go with the proverbial flow.

Think three little pigs and the one who built his house of stone.

One of life’s biggest cliches

Lower left shows yesterday’s date. Top shows location.

One of life’s biggest cliches?

Follow your dreams.

Looks good on paper, yet the dream almost always seems impossible.

Take for example leaving your career behind to start your own business.

Not only that, but having a business allowing you to work at any time from anywhere.

The whole place is a postcard

The whole place is a postcard.

Not exaggerating.
