The most assured way to feel gratitude is to know it could be worse. The other way is to feel AMAZINGLY blessed with the basics: sight, sound, taste, touch, smell, to laugh, read, talk, to love and be loved.

Our Pest Control technician was a blessing in disguise yesterday. Didn’t answer his door bell ring until 15 minutes later, busy working from home. Finally went outside to show him the Carpenter ant colony location.
He asked about my book. And when we were done, I fulfilled my promise and called the proof reader. Been subconsciously making excuses for way too long.

Last night I gave our Son the iPad1 we’ve had for three years. Wanted him to have it for 6th grade which started 4 days ago.
He impressed me with a decision that he didn’t have to make. At bedtime he heard the story of doing small things well – leading to greater responsibility.

September 11, 2001… was facilitating a professional development program with a colleague. We began the day at 6:30 am with Guests arriving at 7:30am for content. By 8:00am, we found ourselves at Epcot’s Germany pavilion for breakfast and a simulated on-the-job training experience.
