Everyone wants to work for a great leader.

Yet how many of us sign up to do the lifetime of uncomfortable (because it’s difficult) work required to be that person. A person identical to the great leader qualities and character we long for?

Hopefully all our hands are being raised.

Live like you mean it.

Lead like you mean it.

Pretty much the same thing.

It’s difficult to achieve, and even more challenging to sustain.

Few of us have the longterm bandwidth required.

Generally, it’s only the type of work that we would die for. A purpose epitomizing… compelling.

Learning not to judge is a lifetime endeavor. We make progress – and then, when and where we least expect it, we catch ourselves (if we’re lucky) failing.

Each time we fail is an opportunity to improve.

This takes guts to believe and and even more guts to embrace.
