Sitting in the Houston International at 5am, waiting to board a flight to Atlanta, then on to Walt Disney World, my hometown. It has been a humbling couple on days to be surrounded by some of our Country’s finest Medial Centers any where in the world.
Following up from last Thursday’s question about whether there’s a difference between transformation and inspiration. You need one to get the other, but having only one does not automatically guarantee the other. Stay with me here.
How would you describe the fundamental difference between creativity and innovation? Can you even separate the two? Here’s what I believe:
Creativity is the act of generating potentially useful ideas, in any domain.
Innovation is the act of implementing a useful idea.
Anyone can dream.
Not every one can make those dreams come true.
Creativity means nothing without innovation.
