Fear is the main reason creative ideas rot on the vine.

Same idea, different website…while walking last night, i used the WordPress Admin dashboard and Siri to dictate the following note to myself directly in WordPress. Here it is, unedited…

Trying to squeeze in a 4 mile walk, technically a 6 mile walk probably only 4 miles, before visitors arrive from North Florida and then out to dinner.

and the point of telling you that is to tell you this, I’m thinking about my friend, Jody Maberry, and his offer to do a one or two or three minute podcast with August who is a freshman in college.

and I asked Siri to play some music I might like, and about a mile and a half into this walk Tim McGraw song comes on that made me think of another Tim McGraw song

humble and kind

One of my favorite Tim McGraw songs, possibly one of my favorite songs of all time by the way, my favorite Tim McGraw song is don’t take the girl.

and I’ve been unintentionally tardy on fulfilling Jody’s request… And then I thought just now as I’m walking, what if I just sent him the link to humble and kind with a little one or two sentence intro to August, and that would count as my Podcast fulfillment?

Artful stardust, self-indulgent, or something else?

Not letting fear stop me from labeling it artful stardust.
