Leadership is seeing the future before anyone else

Leaders see the future before anyone else.

And the best followers are early adopters.

Risk-takers, both of them.

And without both, our lives would not progress with the breakthroughs.

We need one person to identify and the other person to embrace.

You were born for 2019

You were born for 2019.

Go.

Just 60 days from a new year and i’ve been laying out the “battle plan” for 2019 for months already.

Contrast that with the way i used to do it and you have a life • rethought, • reprioritized, and • recommitted

A Total Life Celebration.

“Thought of you today” was the email “subject”

CEO emails me last night:

“I saw a documentary today called “won’t you be may neighbor “
It was awesome. I recommend it”

Margy Whitmer, the film’s producer, in the early description in the trailer, says…

“You take all the elements that make up good television and do the exact opposite, you have Mister Rodgers Neighborhood. Low production values, simple set, an unlikely star. Yet, it worked.”

Wow.

So i asked why…

He said:

I saw in the documentary you. I think you strive to make the world a better place in everything you do. Your not perfect but an inspiration

Upon reading his answer, it occured to me, “i did not know this.”

Is this my last Christmas?

Great moments are born from great opportunity.

Is this my last Christmas?

Who knows.

Do you know yours?

Christmas means nothing without Easter.

God-willing, i will see one more Easter.

We can all use a little more leadership civility (video)

Execs, looking the other way and justifying it with your busy schedule is only fooling one person, you.

Of course you’re under tremendous pressure.

Here’s a little secret – everyone is.

The good news? This may be your greatest catalyst and opportunity for transformational change.

Leaders show the way.

Middle and front-line leaders, ditto.
