His comment came after i described how much and how far i was bicycling when i stopped running.

On April Fool’s Day 2009, jeff noel began writing five daily, differently-themed blogs (on five different sites). It was to be a 100-day self-imposed “writer’s bootcamp”, in preparation for writing his first book. He hasn’t missed a single day since.
Pushing back the website rebranding date to June 25. It was going to be June 8.
Two key partners are out of town this week and at the moment, progress hinges on my decisions.
And decisions this critical are best done collaboratively with these two incredible people.

Began 25 minutes behind schedule and ran over my time by one minute, a net loss of 24 minutes. Never complained. Saw it coming and adapted on the fly. This is what a professional speaker does.

Certainly not the audience.
Just another day of doing work that matters.
Coincidently, received an email from a different client with great news. The Speakers Bureau’s client agreed to remove their video taping request.
i was willing to walk away from a big contract, rather than compromise my values.

Voice message while driving to the High School to volunteer my time.
Listened to it while walking from car to meeting.
Sent quick text to acknowledge, and update, the sender.
After the meeting, a new email with additional details.
Sent email to both parties letting them know the meeting was over and i would call in 15 minutes, as soon as i got home (to my office).
Before we hung up, i was confirmed to take the place of a world-class Disney Keynote Speaker for a Montreal conference in two weeks.
